The Puzzle Piece

I love to work puzzles...for multiple reasons.

I was thinking the other day about God and how He places pieces together in our lives. At times we might not understand what He's doing. It might not make complete and total sense to us. In fact, most often, it might seem like nothing will ever come together.

However, the Lord knows. He holds our lives together and knows just what piece of the puzzle to place, and at the perfect time. 

Remember, only the person holding the box, with the complete picture, can see the finished product and know that it will all work out in the end.

That's what I want to remind myself, and you, today. No matter what it looks like, feels like - or any other "like" - we have a God who is an expert at taking care of us and our situations. He knows just what piece of the puzzle to insert, and when. He never makes a mistake. His ways are perfect - and the best. 

As we go about our day, let's realize that though it might not be making sense right now, hold on, God is in control. One piece at a time, He will finish the work He has begun in us. He knows what the final outcome needs to be. We must trust Him to complete it too.

And He will...one piece at a time.
